ABOUT US

GREETING

Our store has been in business for 50 years in Izumiotsu, Osaka, a textile town.
From a cosmetics store to a store that conveys the charm of the local area.
That is our four generations of u three.

Our store has been passed down from grandmother to aunt, cousin, and mother for generations.
In the fall of 2019, I took over the store.
My daughter was born, and now it's a shop where 4 generations of females aged 91 to 4 gather.
What our store always wants to value is the connection between generations.

Rediscovering the charm of the area

In the spring of 2020, Japan suffered a disaster called COVID-19. An unbelievable thing has happened so far that there is a shortage of masks all over Japan.
There was a long line at the pharmacy before it opened, and we were confused by the lack of masks.

Meanwhile, my hometown, Izumiotsu City, Osaka Prefecture, launched the "Izumiotsu Mask Project" in March 2020.
This project was a collaboration between the Izumiotsu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Izumiotsu City. In order to solve the domestic mask shortage caused by COVID-19, local textile manufacturers and shops cooperated to manufacture and sell cloth masks.

Most local textile manufacturers have never made cloth masks before. Under such circumstances, 11 textile manufacturers agreed with the project. We were able to manufacture and sell it in just three weeks from the start of the project.

At that time we agreed with the project and sold cloth masks.

And after this event, I witnessed the importance of "clothing, food and housing". Among them, I noticed myself who was looking down on "clothes". At the same time, I learned about the appeal of the manufacturing industry in Izumiotsu, my hometown.

The charm of the local manufacturing industry that I did not know

The woolen garment factory in Izumiotsu, my hometown, is as large as a mansion. They naturally blend into the surrounding private homes.
The factory is located in a residential area so much that even if you rely on Google Maps and head to the factory, you will be worried, "Is this the way to go?"
In many factories, the factory name is written on a wooden board, which is old-fashioned.

If you are conscious of it, you can hear the sound of the woolen fabric that constantly resonates with the "Kashan, Kashan" peculiar to the woolen factory. I wonder why I didn't notice it until now.

I love seeing these factories blend into everyday life. This is because you can see the connection and sustainability with the community.
I believe that the industry of Izumiotsu City, which is my hometown, will enrich the region and enrich my life, which will lead to the future.

Expanding Izumiotsu's industry to the world.
